The 4C office in campinas

The most recently opened 4C Office is located in Campinas, Brazil. Brazil is a very traditional and the biggest coffee producing country, and also one of the major coffee consuming countries worldwide. Therefore, 4C Association decided to open an office in Brazil in order to further intensify the successful collaboration with Brazilian 4C Members and partner organizations and to join efforts regarding outreach and continuous improvement of practices.

Campinas is situated between Sao Paulo and the most important Brazilian coffee-producing regions and thus offers an ideal central location. Its proximity to the Instituto Agronômico de Campinas (IAC), a partner of the
4C Association, is an important additional benefit for the work of 4C Association in Brazil. Another important partner of the
4C Association in Brazil is Instituto Totum. Thanks to the excellent work of Instituto Totum and the Brazilian 4C Members, considerable progress could be made in 2008 which helped to prepare the ground for the opening of the 4C Office Brazil in late 2008.
